Yes, it is possible to transfer a license to another system. Because we understand that after a certain amount of time you want to use a new system, this possibility exists. With a standalone license, this is limited to a maximum number. A floating license does not have a maximum.
Do you want to transfer the license to another system? Then install the application on the new system and start the application. When first using a new system, you will be asked to log in with your Netachstore.com account details or your license code. The License Transfer form is then given, which allows you to choose which license to take over from another system.
In the event that all flaoting licenses are already in use on another system, the License Transfer form will be displayed. Here you can choose which license should be taken over from another system.
The application may be available in the following licensing forms:
- Single license:
The application is linked to a workstation and cannot be used on another workstation. If the license has to be transferred to another (new) workstation, this is possible with the license transfer function. To prevent abuse, this is limited to a maximum number of transfers. - Floating license:
The application can be installed on more workstations, but only a certain number of workstations can use the application simultaneously. When purchasing a single floating license, the application can be used simultaneously on a single workstation. For example, when purchasing three floating licenses, the application can be used simultaneously on three workstations.
